The Ghost I clutched my cell phone tightly ready to call 911. I was so terrified lying there in my bed that I couldnt move. Previous nights while staying at my Grandmas house I had been scared, but nothing compared to the fear that ran through my veins on this unforgettable night. I remember how exciting the idea of living with my grandma and being independent from my parents for a whole summer while our new house was being built sounded to me. My grandma lives in a house that is over a 100 years old! I really dont believe it is haunted or anything, but I have definitely heard sounds in the night, some louder and scarier than other nights. My dad used to tease me that it was my Grandpas ghost coming back for visits. My grandpa†¦show more content†¦That was enough to trigger my body to move and get out of the room. So I jumped out of my bed with my cell phone still clutched tightly in my hand and ran to my grandmas bedroom, which, unfortunately, was all the way on the other side of the house. As I watched my grandma sleeping soundly and peacefully, I debated on whether I should wake her up or not. I mean if someone was out there, what could she do about it anyway? So, I sat there for a moment listening for any more sounds. I listened carefully thinking that the quiet voices I heard could be explained if my grandma had her stereo going, but the room was eerily silent. As scared as I was, I decided to go ahead and wake her up. I told her that I had heard three loud banging noises on my window followed by faint voices. She got right out of bed, ready to take on whatever was out there. She went into the kitchen and turned on the porch light; I slowly tiptoed behind her. I looked out the window and saw nothing. The porch light cast a faint glow upon my window that made me shiver. Well, my grandma said, I dont see anything out there. Lets check the back porch. So we walked across the house into the living room and once again turned on the porch light. I cautiously looked out the window afraid of what I might see, but once again I saw nothing.
